The City is hosting an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Scoping Meeting for the purpose of collecting comment from responsible agencies and stakeholders regarding the environmental topics that should be analyzed in the EIR for the Proposed Project. The Proposed Project includes the updates to the Downtown Community Plans (Central City & Central City North), adoption of the “Downtown Zoning Code” – revisions to the Los Angeles Municipal Code as part of the re:code LA project and its first major component - and amendments to General Plan Elements, as necessary, to implement the above. More information, including the full project description and details about how to provide comments, can be found in the Notice of Preparation.
